Program Details
Who: Grades 6 through 12
When: Saturday Evenings
January 5 - February 9, 2019
Meets once a week for 6 weeks
Time: 4:00 - 11:00 pm
Where: Bus leaves at 4:00 pm, SHARP, from the WPS Superintendent's Office parking lot at 31 Marshall Street
Fee: Price before 12/1/18: $140.00 (This includes a $20 weekend evening charge)
Price after 12/1/18: $160.00 (This includes a $20 weekend evening charge)
Description
This program is designed to provide middle and high school students with a fun and safe atmosphere to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding or to improve their skills. All participants must wear helmets while skiing or snowboarding.
This is the eighth winter we have offered this program. Students have a great time learning to ski and/or snowboard. Many youngsters have purchased their own equipment and have become quite accomplished skiers / snowboarders.
Transportation
All participants must ride the recreation department bus and the fee is $150. Go to the above menu and select "Online Registration" or make checks payable to Town of Watertown. Space is limited on the bus with a maximum of 100 seats. Please register early.
Registration
Go to Wachusett Mountain's website at www.wachusett.com/schoolgroup. The school group code for Watertown Recreation is WTRR.
Select lift badge or season pass. Optional items are lessons, equipment rentals, insurance, and the COW card.
